A charming piece of social history—this pine cupboard originally stood in a children's school where pupils stored their shoes during lessons. After more than a century of service, it's been carefully stripped to reveal the warm, natural tones of aged pine.
The wood shows authentic character from generations of use, with subtle color variations and honest wear that tell its story. The original antique brass handles add period charm and remain fully functional.
Originally designed for storing children's footwear, the interior shelving now works beautifully as hallway shoe storage, a linen cupboard, or even a rustic drinks cabinet.
Condition: Good. Structurally solid and sound. The stripped pine finish displays natural age-related variations in tone and color.
