A reclaimed solid oak table with an 11cm-thick live-edge top, handcrafted in Europe — equally at home as a desk, a console, or an intimate dining table. One of only two remaining from a run of four.
From Barn Find to Bespoke Commission It began with two 40-year-old workbenches, full of character, discovered in a barn in France. We commissioned our trusted European craftsman to create four new tables inspired by them — reclaimed solid oak, the same chunky workbench proportions, the same honest construction. Each has an 11cm-thick live-edge top, hand-finished with pure beeswax to draw out the grain and natural warmth.
These tops have never been used for butchery. They are newly made from reclaimed oak, built to capture the rustic, timeworn beauty of the originals.
The base (white-frame version): is finished in a hand-distressed chalky white — a soft farmhouse frame that lifts the warm oak top with gentle contrast.
These are original, characterful pieces — the kind that anchor a hotel reception, a designer's scheme, or a room in a home where nothing needs to match. The substantial workbench proportions make them as convincing as a statement desk or hallway console as at the table.
Delivery & Assembly Delivered by specialist 2-man courier across mainland UK. White Glove (£129): delivered, positioned, assembled, all packaging removed. Room of Choice (£95): delivered to your room, ready for self-assembly. Contact us for remote postcodes or international delivery.
Character Note Knots, grain and subtle tonal shifts are the record of the wood's history, not flaws — part of what you're buying.

Collection
If you wish to collect item personally from our showroom, please schedule the collection with us.
Shipping
As every order is unique, the costs of delivery will vary depending on the size, weight, location and destination of your chosen items. When available, special delivery conditions such as fixed price or courier delivery will be displayed at check out. For our large items like cupboards or chests the delivery is around £69 UK wide (excluding Northern Ireland).
Tables Delivery & Assembly
Some of our tables are delivered by a specialist 2-man furniture courier. We offer two options:
- White Glove Delivery — £129: Delivered, positioned, and fully assembled in your room of choice. All packaging removed.
- Room of Choice Delivery — £95: Delivered to your room of choice, ready for self-assembly.
Both options include careful handling and are available across mainland UK. Contact us for a quote for remote postcodes or international delivery.
Delivery times vary by item size. Large furniture (such as dining tables and cupboards) typically ships within 7–14 working days. Smaller items up to 120cm in length usually ship within 2 working days. Once your order is ready and shipping has been arranged, we will contact you to confirm delivery details. For larger pieces we work with specialist furniture couriers, and delivery timelines can occasionally be longer depending on your location and courier availability — we’ll keep in touch throughout and update you as soon as a date is confirmed.
International shipping
We ship internationally to Europe, USA and UEA. Learn more about our international shipping process before placing an order online or submit a Shipping Quote Request.
Returns
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
We can offer an exchange or refund on items that are returned to us in the same condition, including packaging, and sold within 30 days of receipt.
We do not accept returns on antiques as noted on the product pages. Read our Return Policy on non-refundable items.
