We won't be getting another one.
That's not a sales line. It's simply the truth. Tulip wood of this quality — wide-planked, reclaimed, with the kind of natural irregularity that only comes from genuinely old timber — does not come through our workshop regularly. When it does, we build something around it. This is that something.
The top is built from reclaimed tulip wood planks — wide-boarded, thick, and joined in a way that lets each plank speak for itself. Run your hand across it and you'll feel the subtle rises and dips where the wood has curved slightly over decades, the edges never forced flat. Look closer and you'll find worm holes — the small dark marks left by beetle activity in aged timber — scattered across the surface. In lower-quality furniture, these are filled and hidden. Here, they're left as they are. They are part of the record of this wood's life.
It sits on the same hand-carved trestle base as our Cotswold Collection — finished using a technique our maker has developed over more than a decade, exclusive to us — but the top transforms it into something else entirely. Something you won't find anywhere else, because it doesn't exist anywhere else.

Please Read Before Purchase
Our tables are handcrafted from natural wood, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind. As part of their authentic character and charm, these tables may exhibit natural variations and imperfections inherent to real wood, including but not limited to:
- Grain variations and color differences
- Small knots, splits, or checks in the wood
- Minor surface irregularities
- Natural edge variations
- Slight dimensional differences between pieces
These characteristics are not defects – they are the hallmarks of genuine, natural wood craftsmanship that make your table unique. No two pieces will be identical, and the natural beauty of the wood may continue to evolve over time with changes in humidity and temperature.
We carefully inspect each table to ensure structural integrity and functionality, but the natural imperfections described above are considered normal characteristics of our handmade products and are not grounds for return or exchange.
By purchasing this item, you acknowledge and accept the natural variations that come with authentic, handcrafted wood furniture. See our FAQ for additional questions on tables.
