The Piece

This twelve-drawer chest is handmade in Europe from solid-format pine — heavy in a way that communicates quality immediately, with a surface that carries the texture and warmth of hand-finished timber rather than the flat uniformity of factory-produced furniture. It does not look new because it was not made to. It was made to look like it has always been there.
As a statement storage piece it works hardest in a hallway, kitchen, or bedroom where presence matters — the kind of architectural anchor that defines a room rather than furnishing it. Finished in a rich brick red with a hand-applied paint technique that allows the natural wood texture to remain visible beneath, the colour has depth rather than flatness — closer to a period farmhouse dresser than anything from a modern catalogue.
Each side panel features decorative hand-carved detailing, adding a considered architectural quality that elevates this beyond purely functional storage. Twelve deep drawers offer generous, practical capacity without sacrificing presence.

Available in a bespoke colour of your choice for an additional £120, covering your chosen paint and labour. From sage green to off-white to slate — contact us and we will be happy to advise.
Pre-Order & Lead Time
Available to pre-order when out of stock. Lead time is typically 8–10 weeks. Contact us for bespoke enquiries.

Collection
If you wish to collect item personally from our showroom, please schedule the collection with us.
Shipping
As every order is unique, the costs of delivery will vary depending on the size, weight, location and destination of your chosen items. When available, special delivery conditions such as fixed price or courier delivery will be displayed at check out. For our large items like cupboards or chests the delivery is around £69 UK wide (excluding Northern Ireland).
Tables Delivery & Assembly
Some of our tables are delivered by a specialist 2-man furniture courier. We offer two options:
- White Glove Delivery — £129: Delivered, positioned, and fully assembled in your room of choice. All packaging removed.
- Room of Choice Delivery — £95: Delivered to your room of choice, ready for self-assembly.
Both options include careful handling and are available across mainland UK. Contact us for a quote for remote postcodes or international delivery.
Delivery times vary by item size. Large furniture (such as dining tables and cupboards) typically ships within 7–14 working days. Smaller items up to 120cm in length usually ship within 2 working days. Once your order is ready and shipping has been arranged, we will contact you to confirm delivery details. For larger pieces we work with specialist furniture couriers, and delivery timelines can occasionally be longer depending on your location and courier availability — we’ll keep in touch throughout and update you as soon as a date is confirmed.
International shipping
We ship internationally to Europe, USA and UEA. Learn more about our international shipping process before placing an order online or submit a Shipping Quote Request.
Returns
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
We can offer an exchange or refund on items that are returned to us in the same condition, including packaging, and sold within 30 days of receipt.
We do not accept returns on antiques as noted on the product pages. Read our Return Policy on non-refundable items.
