The Story

There are tables you eat at. And then there are tables that stop people in their tracks.

The Cotswold is the latter. When visitors walk into our showroom for the first time, they stop. They look. Then they run their hands along the top as if they can't quite believe it's real. That reaction — every single time — is what this rustic table is.

This table is fully handmade from European timber by a local craftsman — the only person in the UK who builds to this specification. This isn't factory-finished piece, nor flat-packed shipped in a container.

The Craft

Handmade entirely in the UK, the Cotswold is built from reclaimed solid pine planks — close to 5cm thick, heavy in a way that communicates permanence, and finished in either a natural light water-based seal or a traditional limewash that lets every grain, knot and century of character breathe through. No two tops are the same. No two ever will be.

The base is hand-carved reclaimed pine — substantially thicker than anything in this category — with a distinctive gothic pedestal profile finished using a technique that has no shortcut and no factory equivalent. Every base comes out slightly differently. The iron cross-bolt visible at the centre is structural and original — not decorative, not added for effect.

In Your Home

Three metres table seats eight comfortably and ten when it matters. Pair it with tufted linen chairs in natural tones and it becomes the kind of table people walk into a room and stop to look at. It belongs in a proper dining room with high ceilings, in a farmhouse kitchen with bifold doors to the garden, or in a converted barn where nothing needs to match.

Delivery & Assembly

These tables are delivered by a specialist 2-man furniture courier. We offer two options:

White Glove Delivery - £149: Delivered, positioned, and fully assembled in your room of choice. All packaging removed.

Room of Choice Delivery - £129: Delivered to your room of choice, ready for self-assembly.

Both options include careful handling and are available across mainland UK. Contact us for a quote for remote postcodes or international delivery.

The Cotswold is available as a pre-order at £4,500 for the 3-metre, 10-seat table. Bespoke sizing is available from 180cm. Lead time is typically 10–12 weeks.
